I'm passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work with a focus on workplace belonging. As a public health professional, I'm also interested in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that promote and sustain health for diverse populations. 

Experience: 

UNC Charlotte - Office of Diversity & Inclusion, Graduate Assistant: Curated content (designed web pages, made training materials, and created student resources), wrote 3 manuscripts on DEI initiatives in higher education, and conducted data analysis on UNC Charlotte demographics and student surveys. Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, DEI Subject Matter Expert & Researcher: Designed an employee needs assessment survey to understand and enhance workplace belonging, created programming for employees, and developed presentations with results to present to leadership. East Carolina University, Tracing & Departmental Intern: Organized and led programming for community health workers, developed materials (brochures, posters, online content), and designed programming for students during National Public Health Week.
